What is Sateen?
Sateen is a tightly woven fabric due to its weave structure. Sateen fabrics contain between 80 and 120 threads per cm². The weave structure typically consists of 5 warp/1 weft or 7 warp/1 weft patterns. To achieve such a high thread count in a small area, the yarn used must be very fine (40/1). The advantage of this is the resulting fabric has a soft texture. However, the cost of the fabric is high due to the expensive fine yarn and the reduced efficiency of the weaving machine caused by the dense weaving. The glossy, slippery fabric often considered impractical for duvet covers is known as Silk Sateen due to its weaving. On the other hand, Cotton Sateen, which has the same weaving density but is made from 100% cotton, is known for being the most practical fabric, as it doesn’t wrinkle, doesn’t cause sweating, and is user-friendly.

What is Ranforce?
The term “Ranforce duvet cover set” has become a widely recognized category, especially among women. So, what are the characteristics of Ranforce duvet covers? Ranforce fabrics are made from 100% cotton, a completely natural and environmentally friendly raw material, with high air permeability due to the texture created by the threads on the fabric surface. Although the thin yarn and dense weave do not give a convincing sense of thickness, they contribute significantly to the fabric’s soft texture. The threads are connected tightly and directly with one another. They do not contain any harmful substances to nature or human health. When washed according to the care instructions, the colors remain vibrant for a long time. Ranforce fabric is produced with 30/1 yarn and a weave density of 57 threads per cm².
